Our clients were on a tight budget and didn't want a studio. The budget did not allow them to claim a two-room apartment in a pleasant neighborhood. We therefore circumvented this difficulty by creating an alcove bed, which creates a sleeping area isolated from the living room while creating opportunities for storage under the bed thanks to a system of drawers and hatches under the mattress. In the end, this apartment has an impressive amount of storage for its surface area….. and as we keep repeating: in small areas, the key is storage!
